The Florence Education Foundation is excited to announce the 1st annual Lucky Duck Dive fundraiser! One lucky duck will be selected and awarded $5,000!
The deadline to adopt a duck and join the Lucky Duck Dive is May 2nd at 12:00 p.m. The Lucky Duck Dive selection will be on Saturday, May 3rd at 12PM at the Royal Avenue Pool. Each duck adoption gives you an opportunity to be awarded $5,000. You can adopt as many ducks as you would like!
HOW DOES THE LUCKY DUCK DIVE WORK?
When you adopt a duck for only $10, you will be assigned a duck number. Numbers will be put on the bottom of a rubber duck. All rubber ducks will be thrown into the Royal Avenue Pool on May 3rd, 2025. One lucky duck will be drawn from the pool at 12:00 p.m. The lucky duck that is drawn will be awarded $5,000!
The list will be released on April 28, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. here so you can see your assigned duck number before the drawing. The list will be updated daily after this date as more ducks are adopted until the deadline. You do not need to be present to win. You will be able to watch the Lucky Duck Dive selection by clicking on a link on this page. It will also be shared on our FB page. You do not need to be present to win. The winner will be contacted.
All proceeds from the Lucky Duck Dive will go towards grants for Florence City Schools Classrooms!
